Right now when you right-click a usable item on your quick bar, it won't let you set up an auto-use scenario. I experienced the same problem with my own Cursed. Sadly, even one of the moderator's (I think it was Sheila) in-game tools for removing debuffs didn't work to cleanse it, so I sent the save to Stunt, and since Stunt is not available atm, my character had to retire early

Not permanent, but you shouldn't hold your breath - Stunt appeared in the game shortly and mentioned he's in the middle of a burdensome moving to a new place, and there's no chance for him to work on the saves right now. I checked the behaviour in character editor screen, and it seems the glitch is still there. After that I also copied the .frag file provided by Suslik manually, and it doesn't work for 1.5, too.

I'm gonna shamelessly bump this thread, but it's been a long time since Suslik came up with a fix to the game file, and still I have to manually replace it after each game update. Is it going to be implemented into the main build of the game? Pretty please?
