The easiest way to get your Wikipedia account more permissions / rights is to delete "non-notable / undefended" articles on there. Wait, seriously? And nobody thought that would be a bad idea? Seriously, there was a shitstorm about it last year, but it's hard to find any sources on it sin...

Just put it up as it is now. If they refuse, they're just trying to keep an article they deleted shut down and you'll have to take it to a Wiki Moderator.
