Re: Suggestions for the DarkGod Challenge (Codename Madness!

I've seen stition solving all problems late insane presents with pets (video of master not attacking the player even once: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQPsM2HwkXE ). Instead of (or maybe complementary to) the Hunted idea could be: Priority target - if it's possible to target the player with an ab...

Re: buff Higher

Make the the third one give a crystal focus (if doesn't exist and wasn't used yet) at level 1 and a crystal heart at level 5. This would make highers not worthless as melee.

Re: change the game timing system

This would help a lot with things like Step Up. I love this, because I hate getting 1-step step ups.

Re: Can anything be done about Bioluminescence?

Sun infusion is generally the very definition of a monster ability. It is quite worthless for player characters and often the best thing a monster can have as an infusion. Annoying to no end, more so than the new lightning rune. In its current state, I'd say sun infusion would be best fixed by remov...

Re: Add a toggle which disables online events

Supporting and bumping.

Also, I'd love incompatible events not to trigger. I play a bit of ID and there's no way I'm gonna go do bearscape from there (unless somehow a rod of recall spawns - I have already got Orb of Many Ways).

Re: Does Fungal Growth trigger Ancestral Life?

With a proper setup (or just a situation), this combo could be used to get swallows at nearly instant speed.
Now, do things like "drain life" effect from spellblaze shard count as a heal for the purposes of Fungal Growth? Damage affinity? That could be cheesed hard, if tediously.

Re: Mindslayer Guide - The Other Psionic Class

Telekinetic leap is not a teleport. This is quite important in vaults, because "cannot teleport to this place" doesn't stop it. This gives an unfair advantage to mindslayers against all the pesky blindsiding shadows and worms that walk. Thorn grab is instant cast, so you don't need to stop...

[1.0] Lore not registering on profile (nvm. old bug)

I had a problem with constant lore popups ignoring the lore_popup setting. I investigated in debug mode, called game.player:registerLoreFound("fearscape-entry) directly and noticed that it created a lore.profile in my online profile directory. It also created the table profile.mod.lore (and lor...

Re: Insomniac "realist" solipsist partial guide

Dwarves and Thalore make good solipsists due to save bonuses (since you use mental save for everything). Shalore give you...what exactly? 10% crit is about 5% more damage if you don't have crit damage bonuses. It also means you can't go antimagic and use shalore abilities (because they are spells)....

Insomniac "realist" solipsist partial guide

I've recently (15 minutes ago) completed the game for the first time. Here's the dude: http://te4.org/characters/26704/tome/fd3cbd61-ed2f-4825-86be-4ae788be7ac5 While I'm by no means an expert, we seem to have a shortage of guides for psionics, at least in the spoilers section. An experienced player...

[1.0] Infinite dungeon golems get prodigies

In infinite, golems level up just like player, gaining generic talents, category points, lives (not used) and most importantly - prodigies. While this makes them much more interesting than regular golems, the result is friendly fire (golem doesn't know about Giant Leap AoE), huge pile of useless gen...

Re: [1.0] Robot (golem) dreams

I'm for the golem turning into a mouse as long as it can still shoot laser beams from it's eyes. And taunt " ERATICATE, EXVERMINATE! ". Robotdent takes no hostages and gives no rat's posterior. By the Way, how does someone as eloquent as golem taunt people into attacking it? I can't imagi...

[1.0 tiny spoiler] Friendly chest guardians

In the sacrifice dungeon, most enemies are from Fearscape faction, but some chest guardians spawned as Rhaloren (sic?) and thus friendly, at least to a skeleton with the cloak of deception. They spawned like normal enemies - with rare dudes, auras, arcane disrupted auras and whatnot, just not hostil...

[1.0] Robot (golem) dreams

Apparently, golems dream with their masters. They don't dream of themselves being some petty mice or whatever - they smash all sorts of ugly wives and cougars threatening their rodent masters just like they would do when awake. Then they forget to wake up and have to be supercharged AND invoked back...
