Well, to be fair the spider rod could probably use a nerf too (and it doesn't help rogue types that much.)

It's more of a lack of warning problem, because taking 300 damage hits isn't out of the ordinary (elite skeletons do that on a regular basis) and you have no idea that Massok can crit for 1200 until it happens. Maybe highlighting the prodigies on the character sheet would solve that? I do think 1-co...

"Use a magical wild infusion" is a bad solution btw. Players shouldn't have to use a valuable infusion slot just to counter two spells that pop up infrequently. It just feels bad.

You know, impending doom would already be a very powerful effect *just by preventing healing* even if it didn't do any damage on its own. There are some characters that just don't have a good solution to it if it shows up on adventurers or in Dreadfell.

Put some unenchanted higher tier items on vendors
To help out jewelry and the artifacts that imbue items. Because it doesn't make any sense that unenchanted items would be rarer than enchanted ones.

First time I beat the game without dying. Thalore make a good combination with Anorithil because stacking saves and Resist All works well on a high sustain character. I still did get hit by quite a few status effects, but a high Physical save meant a wild infusion could keep Stuns under control. htt...
