Re: Zephyr Class [1.0.0]
I really wanted to try a Zephyr/Storm Knight hybrid as an Adventurer, but the Zephyr talents don't seem to show up (for me, at least) for an Adventurer. Oh, well, it was worth a try.

Re: Sleep = game over?
Thanks for (3) - that was what I needed to know. In older versions, my strategy for dealing with sleep was to hit 'q'. Now I know I'll need to do something else.

Sleep = game over?
Just updated to 1.4.6 and started a Cornac Magebow. He's currently level 7, at level 3 in Heart of the Gloom. He just got put to sleep by The Dreaming One. In previous versions, if my character was asleep, I could hit 'q' enough times to wake up. Now, it seems I can't do that either. Nor can I rest ...

Auto-cast stopped working?
I'm running a Shalore anorithil, currently level 23 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit). I have Twilight Surge set to auto-cast when available, and Bathe in Light set to auto-cast when no enemies are visible. Somewhere along the way, both of those auto-casts stopped working. I've tried disabling and re-enabli...

Re: t-engine executable won't run
Thanks, gareppa, that fixed it. And, just for the sake of completeness, on a 32-bit system, you would need to run:
Looks like "case closed."
Code: Select all
sudo ln -sf /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1 /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libudev.so.0

Re: t-engine executable won't run
Tried creating symlinks to libgcc_s.so.1 in /usr/lib and in /lib (thanks for the command-line lessons, by the way). Still get the same results when trying to run t-engine. This is very frustrating.

Re: t-engine executable won't run
Still no luck. When I run 'sudo ldconfig -v', the output includes the line: libgcc_s.so.1 -> libgcc_s.so.1 (under /lib/i386-linux-gnu:), which indicates to me that the system knows where that file is. In addition, running 'ldd t-engine' yields (among lots of other output) 'libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/i386...

Re: t-engine executable won't run

Re: t-engine executable won't run
Thanks for the quick replay on that. Here's what I get when I try to run t-engine (correctly this time) from a terminal window: manderse@manderse-ThinkPad-T430s:~/t-engine4-linux32-1.2.2$ ./t-engine WebCore config: library(/home/manderse/t-engine4-linux32-1.2.2/lib/libte4-web.so) spawn(/home/manders...

Re: t-engine executable won't run
I've always started TOME by navigating to the directory the compressed download (t-engine4-linux32-1.2.2-nomusic.tar.bz) creates (./t-engine4-linux32-1.2.2 on my system) and clicking on t-engine. If I navigate to that directory in a terminal window and type in t-engine, it says "t-engine: comma...

t-engine executable won't run
I'm running t-engine 4, TOME 1.2.2, under Ubuntu 14.04 (32-bit). As of yesterday, t-engine won't start. If I click on the t-engine executable file in Nautilus (my usual way of starting the game), nothing happens. Likewise if I right-click on the file and select "Run", or if I try to run th...

How to destroy portals in the Sanctum?
Since defeating the Sorcerors without destroying any of the portals in the Sanctum is considered an achievement, it stands to reason that there must actually be a way to destroy them. I can't for the life of me figure out what that might be, though. I've tried '>', and I've tried the Orb of Many Way...

Re: Point Zero
One question about this:
I killed the boss of the starter quest for my temporal warden character, but could not find a temporal rift on that level. So I used the Timeport: Point Zero skill to return to Point Zero. Did I miss out on completing the quest successfully?
