You could always go for a melee drain life attack that as it levels up becomes ranged. I'd assume a skill for physical resistance would be in order, that would also raise your light and fire resistance from -50% (as you are an undead ghost) to 0% or 10% at max level.

I gotta say that's a cheesy and cheaty way of making the game considerably easier. If such add-on would be created I'd hope it wouldn't make validated save games. I know the feeling of immortality when you get awesome items from the vault and I rather like it, I admit. Still, even with the vanilla ...

Well, them being corporeal might make it hard for them to equip certain items. So would you have some sort of tiered skill for items they can equip? Yes, there's a way as grayswandir said. Might also be nice to add a goat race that could 'eat' items for regen and maybe minor stat buffs. A headbutt attack that dazes and knocks back based on level. Equipping rings on horns (head slot and an alternate slot). And maybe something else you can think of.

Well perhaps instead of using mindstones to make the claws, maybe so long as their hands are empty they'll emit energy-ish claws from their hands, increasing their damage they do? Not sure what type of damage they'd do though. Maybe light or mind or just a bonus to physical?

I have played a little with this addon and it is interesting. The added races and classes are fun, but I haven't played with this addon in a while. Can't wait to see what changes have been made since October. :3
