Re: Physical Power and Physical Save
Again, I think many/most suggestions in this thread fail to keep the balance between classes that use bump attacks and those that don't. If you make defenses/physical saves better or easier to get and/or physical power worse or harder to get then you nerf all classes that rely on it, period. That so...

Re: Physical Power and Physical Save
Uhm, do you guys realize that any changes to physical power, physical save, defense and/or accuracy would have a huge influence on balancing? Some suggestions here would make playing melee classes yourself extremely annoying/stupid while making classes that don't need to bump attack too strong.

Re: Disable Prodigy requirement gains from training dummies
Just remove all those requirement that could be gained that way, since if you can't cheese them against training dummies people will find some other way to do it. Those requirements are boring are unnecessary anyway.

Re: Duelist (Offhand Dagger Generic Category)
@Salo I was merely saying that if you take a class that is well developped and well rounded and add a tree, it should not become an absolutely fundamental tree that is so good it is necessary to be filled. That'd be an obvious sign of power creep and invalidate the original design of the class. Fro...

Re: Doomed NPC's on nm are by far the worst
I agree that the withering thing is ridiculous on higher difficulties and I personally always skip him. The problem is that the shadows themselves also get the nightmare/insane bonuses in addition to the bonuses they have because the doomed itself has higher talent levels in shadow warrior/shadow ma...

Hard cap on vitality life gain
I propose to add a hard cap on the life gain per turn of vitality, perhaps 300 healing/turn max? This is because monsters healing for 1500/turn (every single turn, for 8 turns) is a bit ridiculous.

Re: Duelist (Offhand Dagger Generic Category)
@Salo >The rule you have to follow is that if you add a tree it should still be a perfectly rational choice to ignore that tree. Wrong. What choise does an archmage have to ignore Aegis? Why would a rogue ignore his only defensive tree? You misunderstood, I didn't say every tree currently in the ga...

Re: Duelist (Offhand Dagger Generic Category)
I like that you want to imrpove these classes, but you are clearly misinformed about rogues and shadowblades. Thing is, they're perfectly viable classes already and honestly plenty strong if played right even on nightmare difficulty. So they don't need buffs nor insanely strong new talents. The rule...

Re: Power Creep vs. Meaningful Leveling
Why don't you just make the talents worse at level 1? I mean, the scaling issue with skirmisher's isn't that their skills don't get better by putting points into it, it's that they're so ridiculously good at talent level 1 that there's no reason to invest more. For example kneecapper deals 170% weap...

Re: Revised Berserker and Skirmisher Feedback Thread
Maybe it's kinda off-topic but first : get patchnotes straight please! Those you have are not specific enough. For example I still have no idea what have you changed in each class. Not everybody is expert so will remember every talent and every tree. Why don't have detailed patchnotes like : - xxx ...

Re: democracy based wrmic remake thread READ BELOW BEFORE VO
My opinion: - not all draconic trees should require willpower to unlock talents. - not all breaths should scale with strength. Basically, I'd like to see some of the draconic trees scale of strength/weapon damage only (and require strength to unlock) while some other draconic talents scale of mindpo...

[1.2.2]Heat Shift and other Mindslayer bugs
The description of heat shift (mindslayer, thermal mastery) says it should have range 6 and when you use the skill it will ask you to target it in range 6. But in practice, no matter where you target it, it will only effect the enemies in radius 2,2,3,4,4 around you instead of the enmies around the ...

Quality of life changes
Hey. This is just a topic for very small changes that solve small problems. Problem: for example, if you have invested 5/5/0/0 in fears and want to get Panic, investing 1 point into tyrant makes Instill Fear much worse. Simply because before you would only apply 1 of 4 good fear effects that are all...

Which classes can win on Insane difficulty?
Question is pretty straight forward I think. I'm of course talking about the new insane difficulty. I had a look at the character vault. There aren't that many classes present on insane above level 40 since 1.2.0: http://te4.org/characters-vault?tag_name=&tag_level_min=40&tag_level_max=&...

Wow, that's very impressive. Insane/adventurer is already very incredible, the roguelike part makes it even better. Well done.
