Hi Ham, unlock's don't work on easy mode .. and if your game hangs, switch to running it in windowed mode / maximized. this will let you get at save/exit by X'ing it closed.

http://te4.org/wiki/gems has a nice list, it doesn't have the colors, nor their values, nor the artifact gems but it helps.

when you're in windowed mode you can "save and exit" an unresponsive game. this came huge surprise for me; playing windowed*, i've reloaded from what were 'playtime lost' moments when in full-screen mode twice now and it seems to work; so at the risk of this being redundant i hope this obs...

hey, hi, thanks for the reply. first off, i can agree with you on the WAD part. but i'm truly unhappy with it because * the escort is in my party and exempt from beam damage after all -- because of that i would argue that the alchemist's protection from Molten Skin should naturally extend to the gue...

2 ways to freeze/hang: slaver boss and meteor strikes

2 ways to freeze/hang my game anyhow. 1 * slaver battle master .. rushed down to him with a lvl 18 warrior, got out of the dialog, fought, killed him, pressed auto-explore. char runs to the 'control pool/pit' on the far side of the ring and the game hangs, the mouse responds but it accepts no input....
