Re: How exactly does crit reduction work?
"Crit reduction reduces the CHANCE an opponent has of landing a critical strike" - straight from the character sheet.

How exactly does crit reduction work?
Let's say I have 120% crit chance on my character sheet and the enemy has 20% crit reduction. When I whack this enemy, what are the odds I get a crit? min(120%, 100%) - 20% = 80%? min(120%, 100%) * (100% - 80%) = 80%? 120% - 20% = 100? 120% * (100%-20%) = 96%?

Re: Dumb questions thread
Could someone please tell me the names of the talents that cause reduced healing/regeneration? The only thing that comes to mind is blood lock but that's not quite what I'm trying to remember. EDIT: I just remembered about insidious poison infusions. Anything else? Deep Wounds from the Bleeding Edg...

Source of +7% resist all?
A lot of characters in the vault have 7% more resist all than I can account for. For example, many characters have 22% resist all. 15% comes from thick skin, and I can't seem to find where the rest comes from. http://te4.org/characters/6887/tome/964df8db-8935-4673-b5b0-5ca22b8e5e82 What's going on? ...

Re: Stealth/Invis vs Accuracy
Attacking an enemy you can't see (whether from stealth, invisibility, or blindness) has something like a 2/3 chance of automatically missing before you even get to the accuracy/defense check. The Withering Orbs let you ignore this miss chance, as does having the Perfect Strikes buff. (That's the on...

Stealth/Invis vs Accuracy
Could someone tell me the math regarding how an enemy's stealth/invis affects your chance to hit? What about being blinded? Furthermore, how should a bulwark/berserker go about dealing with stealth/invis enemies? Feathersteel helps obviously, though it's a pain to switch on and off, and is not guara...

Re: Cannot access stores/alchemist quest in Elvala
Wow, same exact problem in Last Hope now (different save file though). Also, a clarification: the game didn't quite crash - it froze, and then I forced it to quit through the task manager.

Cannot access stores/alchemist quest in Elvala
I was in Elvala when the game crashed. I think I had a store window open when the game crashed, but I'm not sure. Anyway, when I restarted the game, I was unable to access any stores or the alchemist quest. I am able to access stores normally in other towns. I am certain that before the game crash I...
