I've just winned with a mindstar doomed, and one point in psiblade get's you +40% mindpower from each mindstar and +40% bonus to wil/cun from each mindstar.

Also, the damage increase is included into gesture of pain calculation.

For one point, it's nice!

I'm running a *Spoiler* right now: it's sooo entertatining

I have psiblades at 1, further investment seemed pointless to me (say a +10Will would pass from +14Wil to +15Wil)

You are right...i saw just now that the evasion applies only against physical attacks :( but anyway, against ambuscade and others nasty stuff maybe it's usefull - for spell i've my crazy antimagic skills (backed up with hig willpower) And AM slingers do have problems against the late game crowds so....

I'm running an antimage archer/slinger halfling (i'm at 23lvl) and i'm raising Willpower in order to get Lucky day prodigy to maximize the return of the racial evasion talent to 4 turn/100%... i'm curious, it's promising so far.

(but i'm concentrating on aim and not rapid fire, up to now)

i have run a shalore - lich minionless necromacer and i haven't got any problem whith dreadmaster - resistance penetration & hig crit sliced through pretty well.

I believe the key problem is you are low in dexterity, so the bonuses from shield wall are low -> so your defence, armor & hardiness lack in numbers. Second, your armour is not that good i think, Phis resistance with high armor, hardiness and defence is not so usefull. Better a voratun impenetra...

it doesn't seem to me this game is so umbalanced or deadly, at least in the ordinary play.
It may happen sometimes some occurencies of bad luck / instagib, but they are (IMHO) normal in a sistem this complex and rich

I think you are narrowing too much your perception of problems.
