What do you mean no updates in a while? If you are talking base versions of the game the latest version came out a few months ago. There have not been a ton of updates cause the next big update is the new DLC The Lost Land and the development team has been focused on that.

Animals/insects
humanoids (Like bandits and warriors)
Oozes/slimes

Then for advanced minions you have
Demons
Horrors
Undead
Elementals
and advanced version of the simple one probably(but that might be too much lol)

What quest is the clearing the trash quest again?

I think it would be an interesting idea. You could even have it where each
"Race" is a unlockable tree and you start out with very generic "minions"

Yes but if you want to make sure to transfer any progress it is best practice to make an account. Even more so with Steam but i assume it works with GOG and other vendors.

Why Wait you can make a free account and start playing right away and that way your progress can be transferred when you purchase the game.
