I've encountered a number of issues trying out the Doomed class on 1.0. The Gesture of Pain description doesn't seem to match the code: when dual-wielding (eg) a mace and a mindstar, Gesture of Pain is not allowed. Another one that needs feedback is the Doomed talent Deflection. It seems like the textual place it's supposed to show damage remaining is currently bugged, but again, a meter would be much more convenient.

Either the description or the code of Gesture of Pain is off: I can't use the Gesture when wielding a mace and a mindstar.

A meter would be nice, but ideally it would also be in the description of the sustained talent so you can tell what the status of enemies is.

Show damage left on Retribution

On almost all shielding talents, there's an indication of how much damage remains. With the Sun Paladin talent Retribution, I can't see how to tell how much damage remains before the payback triggers.

It's not clear to me whether this is a bug, but it can have in-game effects beyond just the bar appearing. For instance, if you gain a mana bar in a similar way, then enemies can use Manaclash on you.

There are some bugs in the build order addon (at least, when used with the SVN version). There seems to be a serious space leak; I couldn't go past level 25 or so before my computer started swapping. And if you use the levelup option from the menu, you don't get stat points, which makes it not so ha...

I think the Linux instructions, at least, should be updated in two ways, newly as of r5147:
  • You should now use the head of the SDL tree, rather than the old version.
  • You now need to compile SDL_ttf as well.
Otherwise, it worked for me.

It's a little spread out (because each resource is used in multiple ways), but, eg, there's a lot of code in tome/class/Actor.lua. Try searching for 'positive'.
