Re: Sun Paladin escorts: which chant?
It's character dependent, but Fortitude probably wins out on average unless you know your character is doing the vast majority of its combat at "3 or more spaces away" range.

Controlling the UI and the hotkey toolbar
Is there someplace where I can see listed all the things I can do with the hotkey toolbar, and suggestions for the setup aside from the default? As characters accumulate more and more skills and useable items, organizing this really becomes important and it is a weak side of my generally weak ToME s...

Shortcut key menu
I noticed that the shortcut key menu accessed by pressing 'm' has an unused column (rightmost column of the left half), at least on my computers. Is that something that has a purpose? Speaking of this screen, I'd rather see in the column showing hotkey 1, 2, etc., the actual key the hotkey is mapped...

Re: Resolution problem
Ah, that's a good tip.
Got my resolution the way I want: 50% zoom with 200% font size. Nice.

Resolution problem
Wanting to see more of the map, I changed the resolution setting to 400%. I went the wrong direction from what I wanted. No problem. Except, now the resolution is so bad I can't even see menu options. How do I reset it to default? I haven't found a text file or something like that with settings, jus...

Escort Quests/Auto-jump to bottom level in beginner zones
Does the auto-jump to bottom level behavior end up killing escort quests if it skips levels that escorts were generated on? Also, I think that this game quirk might be better to be modified so that if an escort was generated somewhere in the dungeon (Trollmire 2, for example), the game jumps to that...

Game crash after save entering new levels
Title says it. Not 100% of the time, but often enough. The save file is perfectly usable, so it doesn't kill a game session; just annoying to have to restart the game when it happens.

Re: Unique summoner nasty vs. AM
It's harder to just stand 2 rooms away and spam summons, which is what most summoners were doing. I'm not sure how it's not a nerf. It probably is a nerf versus many PCs, but not versus antimagic characters which depend on movement infusions for escape. If this is an intended effect, to be able to ...

Re: Unique summoner nasty vs. AM
If it was a nerf to both, it didn't have exactly that effect. Yes, once you get far enough away, enemies can't spawn melee summons next to you any more, but reliably trapping someone in a corridor before they get too far is perhaps even nastier. Changing it back to a range bolt will help, maybe keep...

Was that change made to benefit PCs or NPCs (monsters)?

Unique summoner nasty vs. AM
I'm currently playing an Exploration Mode character, and I went through several lives trying to off a unique storm giant summoner I found in the big 'city vault' that often appears in Daikara. The character is a Barbarian Anti-magic build, nothing too special. It is probably a fight that I should ha...

Re: Achievement for Killing enemies with there own attacks.
It might be a bit easier to do this as a boss-kill achievement, instead of a general-kill achievement. The Spellblaze Crystal is probably one of the best bosses to do this with.
