I got to the (Sher'tul) fortress, and I think I remember an entrance to the slightly NE of the forest. (This is the same character---still alive.)

That > isn't on the map for me anymore. Is it supposed to be and if so, any idea how I can get it back?

AHH! As a alchemist, I just managed to get out of a situation with some thieves in the world, and out popped the golem not the @. It is the @ that left the level---I thought it a good idea to crash the engine since I figured I wouldn't be able to leave the world with g. Has any one ever had an issue...

All, I wonder about the popular opinion on when to use the crystal focus. Should I try to find an ash (or better?) white staff or just stick it to the white elm I started with? Seems like the slightly better white staves are pretty rare and I've dies quite a few times lugging the thing around... Ta/
