Hrm. My apprentice disappeared around level 22 on a now-deceased character. I wasn't certain if he had died to adventurer parties, or if something else weird messed things up. I have a feeling it may have been the latter, as my quest for him had disappeared entirely from the log, not being failed or...

Is it possible for the apprentice to die to adventurer parties? Mine has happened to disappear without having completed his quest.
