Yeah, what they said, congrats. I didn't think they were viable on madness, since my temporal warden regularly gets hit for 6k+. Maybe arcane blades are the best class? Guide plz!

Please don't change the withered thing on higher difficulties, I enjoy him being difficult, people will just need to learn they can't fight him immediately. He's very difficult early, but you don't need to charge everything right away, that's part of higher difficulties.

I agree with everyone else, I'm jealous and impressed. Also threatened, been trying on roguelike since 1.1.5 release and it's more than a challenge. I'm hoping you don't beat me there! No vault on roguelike though

I'm of the opposite opinion. The scaling will force creative solutions, and the final boss will feel like a boss. Flurry on a poorly geared marauder without the item vault hit the mage for 26k. With better gear or a higher damage class you could probably hit for 50k. They need health in that range s...

Weak ego's: helms and boots are pretty weak in general. Wizard hats are the exception, they're best on almost everyone, but caps and helms are pretty bad. You'll need to die a bunch in tome before you realize how to prepare for certain things.
I also played nethack and recall endless bricks falling on my head and dying. Tome is no where near that. Almost all deaths are a result of player mistakes.

I just discovered this as well, gauntlets nerf attack speed, but gloves leave it unchanged. Very strange. Happened on a cursed and a berserker, so it probably happens with all classes and is a problem with gauntlets.
