I've extracted the character from the ruins and gotten it killed elsewhere, so the problem's moot for me at a practical level.

On the other hand, this looks like a tight loop, and I'm wondering if it is...

It's a Higher Arcane Blade. It's happening in the underwater ruins... Forgetting module name...

It seems that about half the time I have a character thawing from a freeze attack, the a CPU is pinned and the game freezes. The game hasn't returned from whatever it's doing for up to 15 minutes. I stopped being patient about it after two or three times. I'm playing on OSX 10.7, MacBook Pro 13"...
