[1.7.2] Prophecies (madness, treason) count as last learned class talents for unlearning last 4 class points
It appears the talents granted "Prophecy of Madness" or "Prophecy of Treason" fill in spots for "unlearn last 4 class points..." for floating class point purposes. If you pump prophecies from 1 to 4, the 2 granted talents take up spots for unlearning class talent points.

I believe with the doomed rework in process for the 1.6 release a few suggestions would be welcomed. One with Shadows tree is well regarded as weak. A few tweaks I think would be thematic- Shadow Senses is presently nullified by blindness. At a minimum, make it so you know where your shadows are so ...

Zizzo, on the subject of DitL's of yours- I do believe you wrote the old DitL of a rogue trapper, which very likely inspired and ensured there was a whole traps category in the present ToME!

It's happening! Not much has threatened this character since fungal blood (besides Shasshii dropping 8 meteors on my head all at once for the BoL use).

Per some code divers, it's wholly workable.

So, shadows. The trick with shadows is try to float points out of it, until you can suddenly plop 5/1/4 into it. RIGHT then, they'll come into their own. You'll be coasting around at 5/1 for a long time (and a bit weaker...) but when you throw 4 points into shadow mages and they start ressing/throwi...

Um, once in a long time ago the beta (maybe even alpha at that point...) ended at the Master. I think it was public knowledge then that the game would be longer?

... Cat point required? The general consensus is that Cursed Aura is recommended on a doomed not going antimagic, and would be spread too thin on a doomed going AM. I personally believe you can pull off AM, the weaker version of fungus (heal boosting instead of regeneration boosting), and cursed aur...

Just to chime in with anecdotal experience:
On my skeleton, with 3 far portals done during my 30s, I reached high peak at level 46. I completed every dungeon except the one with my own shade (dark crypt), and that's including the Bearscape.

Capped resist all was reached by one of two ways.
15% was provided by tough skin. 36% was provided by phase door rune. Curse of Shrouds provided the rest- every time I killed something I got either 15% (at curse 4) or 20% (at curse 5) res all for 3 turns. If not, one movement brought it back.

No, not really. Rarely. Two things happen at low hate- shadows require a reboot (I'd have to cut off shadows and allow hate to rebuild a bit), and healing goes to pot. The healing going to pot was taken care of by the girdle of calm waters. +30% heal mod is quite significant when you may be potentia...
