When playing on my laptop, the world map (and sometimes dungeons) basically gets covered in ocean tiles (graphically). I have the prodigy, but any AoE I do still hits friendly characters (like escorts or townsfolk).

So how are you supposed to succeed at this?

Because even though nothing seems to touch her, she just dies anyway.
I managed to kill everything, and then she suddenly died without cause.

Every now and then (generally every 5-10 minutes) I'll get a message that my connection to the server has been lost, and that the game's trying to resync.
Sometimes it manages to, most of the time I'm just stuck offline for a while.

For some reason the apprentice guy you're supposed to give an item to to get into the magic city is showing as hostile on my world map.

It is frustrating that doing things while the server is down completely negates your efforts. Especially seeing as the servers have been pretty crap lately, disconnecting people constantly. I finally got the 500 sludgenest achievement today... but the servers had booted me (for like the 20th time to...

Also, if you leave and come back, do the enemies stay as strong as you built them up to? Or do they return to the base level they should normally be at when you start it? Meaning if I hang around until monsters spawning there are 20 levels higher that they started and leave, will they still spawn at...

I don't know why, but lately I get disconnected all the time. I'll be playing along and notice the chat seems quiet. I try to talk and such, but nothing comes up. When I go to the main menu I see I'm not logged in, and the server won't let me connect.
