For all the people defending the way this game works: it's unfair a little too often.

75% or more of the time I end up dying to pink uniques. Seriously, f*** those guys.

I'm willing to give this game a few more chances, but I'm about to quit in frustration. First off I'm not new at roguelikes, and even had a couple of Tome winners back before it became it's current incarnation. I've also played ZAngband, Angband, UnAngband, Moria, Nethack, ADOM, and probably others,...

Title says it all. Since about 5 betas ago, I haven't been able to login (gives bad login error) or create account (window freezes and eventually I have to close it).

I'm using Win7, Avast (checked to see if blocking), whitelisted .exe with Windows firewall.

Please help!

Ever since the second beta that I've downloaded, I've been unable to login or create an online account. I've done the firewall/network checks and everything seems in order there, but I instantly get the failed message every time I try to login or create an account. Help...
