Re: Class: Glutton [alpha]
My version 0.0.6b winner, Grutton, the master of assimilation: http://te4.org/characters/6188/tome/8d51e50c-0d97-46fb-aaba-675e0dd1465c One thing I want to suggest now that a total skill cap has been incorporated is a way to permanently unlearn (and never learn again) skills you wouldn't want for a ...

Re: Pander's home for ridiculous ideas
It may not be the dumbest thing james ever came up with, but it's the dumbest thing he's ever told me: a bow wielding mind slayer. As mentioned above, and as you can probably imagine, it's terrible.Grey wrote:What do you mean by Bowslayer?

Re: Pander's home for ridiculous ideas
Beta 32 is shaping up to be a pretty amazing update. I will certainly give marauders a go. Also, any boost to Garkul's Helm / more Garkul equips is / are welcome here. --- Bowslayers are awful, obviously. I can't bear to go further than killing Bill with one. Serious thread? Check. --- This space is...

Re: Pander's home for ridiculous ideas
Instead, each time an item is thrown into the chest, it will grant the janitor those boosted stats or abilities for blah number of turns You know, some of us discussed a similar mechanic on IRC for a Half-Dragon Half-Gelatinous Cube race, that obviously has a difficulty equipping but no problems de...

Re: Pander's home for ridiculous ideas
Archmage with no points in a certain skill trees can be interesting - no points in fire/manathrust or invis trees at all. If you're saying no extra points in Arcane Power, then no, I haven't done it yet, otherwise, most of my melee mages look like that. --- Discussed in great detail in the game cha...

Re: Pander's home for ridiculous ideas
As some already know, I'm playing a vanilla equips and items only character. That means no egos, no artifacts, no useful wands, or boosted inscriptions. My first attempt is skeleton brawler. Not using the Cloak is a pretty significant burden. I don't get the extra generic points from the arena unloc...

Pander's home for ridiculous ideas
From time to time, I come up with some pretty outlandish challenges, builds, classes and races. As often as I feel like it, I'll post those ideas here, as well as any progress on challenges, whip mages, naked brawlers, what have yous. Of course, anyone else willing to post their hair brained schemes...

Re: New class idea: Trickster
Yeah, I've been chattering about a Blue Mage type for a while now. After observing some of your ideas, I may pilfer them. I'll create a thread of my own once I have all of my disparate plans sorted, as they differ quite a bit from where you're headed.
