Thanks for the tips. I've found that maxing out the Magma Skin (I think that's what it's called) and then increasing some physical abilities worked really well.

I used Providence while Grappled by a headless horror, and it threw an error message up. The status effect went away, but my character is now permanently "Unable to move."

I think there was one other status effect on me at the time as well.

Ah... leveling my golem up was what I was missing. I feel kinda dumb about that one. Now I bet I could go a lot farther in the game .

Why is the magic stat useful for your golem? I thought they were all physical.
