I ended up voting for Theme, though it was quite a job choosing between it, Annals of Ea, and T-Plus.

Main only. I cut my roguelike-playing teeth on Nethack, which doesn't give the option of anything else, so I have a longstanding habit of using the relevant commands when I want to look at things like inventory or message history (and of not looking away from the main window, to the point that I'll ...

90 on a technicality—I got a stupidly overpowered Avatar character in T-Plus to Angband 95. :) Most of the time, it's actually more like 20; a really promising character is one who actually sees the end of Mirkwood.

Butbut...I love them all so! (Except for the regular humans, they're boring.)

High-elves, definitely. *pets them* (Partially the lovely stats and such, partially my inner Silmarillion geek intruding - <3 Noldor. Nerdanel, your namesake is one of my favorites.)

Yeah, having several new houses would seem excessive. I'd say one new house would be nice, if only to have the convenience of being able to store a little more...though it'd defeat the point if it was only a replacement if you lost Gondolin. For those of us who have long since learned not to lose G...

What Nerdanel and MM said; I don't generally speak out loud of ToME details. If at some point I should really really have to pronounce it, I'd probably do the same thing I do with other asterisk-surrounded text: make the asterisks with my hands while saying "identify".

As a matter of fact, yes. :) Never saw more than 36 or 37 in any *band, though. This is largely because I suck.

Ain't we use it all to give our characters a second chance to beat a monster.
Maybe this is just my Nethack roots showing, but...nope. Never backed up a savefile in any roguelike as long as I've been playing.
