ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Was brought into the fearscape by some invoker and couldn't find him to kill him. Turns out he is in the middle of a box of lava wall with no way for me to hit him with anything. He is in a 1x1 hole so I can't teleport in there or get in via probability travel and dig doesn't work on the lava walls....

Title says it all.

I've got the save file, but it's too big to attach. Let me know if you want it.

I'm not certain that it didn't spawn one, but if it did it disappeared. It possibly vanished when I dug through the wall whilst standing on it, but I'm not sure.

Damn! If only I'd known about this thread when I encountered my unique brittle clear ooze boss.

I hate these maze-like farportal levels.

The game crashed when I tried to go futher down. Upon reloading (at level 1) I went down again and got this:

After stumbling across the Angolwen jeweler imbue and testing it by using every gem in my inventory on a single ring, I noticed that my transmogrification chest had vanished.

I definitely had not dropped it and it had not been mentioned in the game log since I'd last used it.

Thanks for the responses guys. What level were you when you beat him? I normally clear out the Daikara at levels 15-17 and it's pretty easy at those levels for the classes I've tried.
