I almost hate to report this one, because I've been enjoying the heck out of it. But, if you have Retribution enabled and you get silenced, then as soon as you reach your damage limit, Retribution triggers every move (until the silence wears off). Suggestion for b25 announcement
Instead of the fairly innocuous 'Removed all lava floors from the wyrm room in vor armoury', how about changing the text to say "Removed all lava floors and replaced them with snarling painful unavoidable death'.

Disabling the mini-map in Game.lua allows me to get past the crash. I commented out the three lines which update the minimap each turn, and was able to complete Charred Scar.

This crash hits me anytime I go 'south' past the bottom of the minimap (which no longer scrolls). So, this being the case, is there any workaround/way to successfully get passed Charred Scar? I've not got any other options than moving down.... (any chance of a 24b with the bug fixed? I'd hate to giv...

My mistake, you're right. I misread 'tactical expert', and didn't realize that it only applies when the enemy is directly adjacent to you, not just within visible range. The strangle hold is working correctly. I'm still not sure what the deal was with the 100% physical resist guy -- it was a 'h' rig...

OK, Exploit weakness works on enemies with some physical immunity, but not those with 100%. Is that as intended?

Also, Crushing Hold doesn't seem to silence the target in most cases. At least, a choking hold hasn't prevented spells from being cast, which is what I assume 'silence' refers to.

So, I've been playing a brawler for a while now, got to level 40 and am about to head Far East (made it through Reknor despite the mini-map bug thanks to a lot of scumming after crashes =[). Overall, the class has been a lot of fun. A few questions, though: A) Exploit weakness does not seem to work....
