Dig some empty room to his both sides and use tidal wave (from one side) to move him to other side. Maybe it works?

I also run it on W7 64bit and also had weird trouble. I changed my resolution to native monitor resolution and full screen. After that it works. You can do it without entering game, I just don't remember how 
.

I had similar problem with one of my computer. New one, with wide screen monitor. Game started, but hanged soon after. I tried to find out why and it seems that resolution is reason to blame. I modified resolution to my monitors native resolution and full screen. After that game loads normally. Don'...
