Download mirror?

Are there any download mirrors for the windows versions of the new beta? Its a long story, but I can not access te4.org from computer I want to play on. I know there are other potential options, but what I really need is a different site to download it from.

Implementing killerbunnies.org patches?

http://killerbunnies.org/angband/ There are some interesting patches on this site that I would like to implement, particularly the automatizor and macro patches. I have no idea how to implement them. I've copied and pasted the files into a text file that I ended in .diff and added to the patches fo...

Re: Ugh. YASD

I feel you pain. I've never won, and just had my most likely candidate get eaten by his own pets. Win!, my level 50 Vampire Rohanknight Sorc (right out of Lord Dimwit's guide) got eaten by his own greater dragon army on the The Crypt in Angband. I know that he wasn't wearing aggravation gear, and th...

Re: Automatizer

I've been playing ToME on and off for ~3 years now, semi-serious. I've had 5 characters make it to level 50, but have never won. Stupid Mt. Doom and The Crypt... I use the automatizer extensively, and primarily from the "K" destroy object rule command (non-roguelike). Please rate the impor...

Re: Enter the Pariah

This idea is (kind of) ripped off from WH40K. Take it as you will. Anyway... Why is this good? Because it would let you have antimagic rogues, antimagic monks, and antimagic archers (without the weapon of nothingness rubbish). I like this idea a lot. I currently just modify p_info.txt to add antima...

Re: Wizard mode command list?

I started looking through the source code on Git and found this: http://gitorious.org/tome2/tome2/blobs/master/src/wizard2.c It isn't very readable, but scroll to the bottom and you will find the key presses and a brief description. EDIT: Got bored at work and converted it to a readable format... &q...

Re: Does anyone know play modules work in OS X?

I know that ToME 2.3.5 definitely had trouble loading modules properly. IIRC the menu did display the modules correctly, but there was memory corruption which could lead to 1) a swift exit from the program or 2) messed up directory names (which would prevent things from loading properly). You could...

Does anyone know how to make modules work in OS X?

The newer (2.3.x) versions come as a single file on a disk image which initially caused an issue. I learned that you can right click on the app, "view package contents" and add to the "mods" file. I assumed this would fix the issue, as adding to the "mods" file is what ...

Wizard mode command list?

I'm just coming back from a 3 year break from ToME and can no longer find a list of the wizard mode commands online. Anyone care to share? I also remember being able to find tons of documentation like this easily online, but have been striking out this round. Does anyone have a good online ToME reso...
