thanks :) i'm biased, but i think they hold up pretty well in-game. there are a few tiles that are so large they overlap the frames which is an issue, but i'm hoping i can figure out a way to overlay the bars on top of the sprites instead of vice versa. you can see what i mean on the fat boss here (...

you can add a transparent color overlay to the green/red bar area
something like 10-15% would be noticeable but you could still see the health underneath

Ok so about 1/3 of the pack has been completely redone!
