I noticed something was wrong when my poor TortoiseSVN couldn't update to the latest code! Is there a way to do this from the new Git instead of manually downloading and applying the .diff files?

That's one way to do it. Depending on the story, we could also have an end game ally be one of our previous winners instead of an NPC(Think of a certain person who can join the player against the sorcerers now). That would be really cool.
