Re: Drowning bosses?

I reckon that my english isn't the most correct and ask sorry for that. Just was trying to say that if one of earlier bosses accidentally dies and the player didn't earn that XP, player could always "recover" that lost XP remaking some times more the dungeon. Well, if again my words aren't...

Re: Drowning bosses?

In the long run, I just don't see how it would help a firefighter living in say Canada, to hear about a fire in Russia. You never heard of Chaos Theory? A beat of a butterfly's wing in China can eventually trigger a hurricane in the Atlantic! ;) Nah, being serious I kind of back you up on this! Sir...

Re: IRC channel

Seems using mIRC is "out". Even faster than have to install Chatzilla in our Firefox's people that already have Opera browser can log in right away without plugins. It's another option at your choice. But a lot of IM's have too IRC support like Adium.

Re: Drowning bosses?

Are you complaining? Well done, As russians believed in Stalin times mind can kill at distance. Let's say you "suggested" to Boss self-drown itself. Or maybe after eat something the boss didn't wait for digestion ;) Well, don't worry about killing bosses giving XP for 2/3 levels. In first ...

Re: [bxx] OSX Reboot / Kernel Panic / npvhash=4095

Well, I think will not help much. it's just a regular iMac with no problems from two years ago. Totally updated 10.6.6 too, DUO 2.93 with 4gb and a 256MB Nvidia GT!20. It's not even that infamous 27" new series that had a lot of gfx problems. As you know the desktops are even more stable than t...

[bxx] OSX Reboot / Kernel Panic / npvhash=4095

Ok, apps "quitting" in OSX are common and Mac users can live "well" with that. TOME do that sometimes and I reported some days ago about massive selling crash (http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=24122) that unfortunely didn't gathered any interest. But yesterday thing...

Re: Odd ammo transmutation when selling to shop... [beta 16]

whoa. that's was an arrow arsenal selling. You should got a lot of $ incoming :) You probably now this but Just to remember to not sell all arrows at same time because of 25/35 gold pay limitations. Unfortunly shops cuts pay without warning but if we sell small <25/35 gold groups we can reach the va...

Re: Equilibrium Infusion regen / Problems with Equilibrium

No problem Sirrocco, just happy that things and the situation is solved now. However is a bit sad that we made two "combat rounds" between us in a middle of a community that don't deserve those things. Sorry if as you said I made some psicanalysis with you but I was trying to understand wh...

Re: What happened!?

About leaving Tolkien-lore it had to be. As you probably know Middle-Earth "stuff" as places, characters and other details are copyrighted so darkgod decided to leave and avoid possible troubles with the tolkien brand managers. It's a bit sad leave our beloved tolkien ambient but also make...

Re: Equilibrium Infusion regen / Problems with Equilibrium

Look Sirroco, I'm not replying to this to feed even more some kind of war. But now that just that you show me what exactly you thought that was arrogance I'm happy to simply explain back and show you that was simply my bad use of a wrong temporal mode in a verb in english. In that way you made a wro...

Re: Is this a bug, or does the rng god HATE me?!

Got an alternative solution to situations like this one not using teleport: " - Give me a break guys. Smoke time.", you say. " - "That's ok, we will meanwhile order your grave", someone shouts back in the mob crowd. you put hands in your pockets, simulating not finding what ...

Re: Normal/Hardcore renaming

I personally don't have much problems or rants with actual naming, also because the desc of the types is somehow clear so it's only a personal taste of naming. However I agree that for newcomers could have more atractive meaning naming. Arcade, Purist are good sugestions. I personally would call to ...

Re: Equilibrium Infusion regen / Problems with Equilibrium

The jelly itself already has an important use as a corridor blocker, so I wouldn't like to see it replaced by a mobile critter. Ok then, I personally don't use them anymore because prefer to use my points max killing pets (hydras, imps, drake, minos, golem). I started to think as sometimes easily k...

Re: Equilibrium Infusion regen / Problems with Equilibrium

About a pet thing I would prefer more replace jellies with a weak easily killed pet but it's important to be mobile. Permanent or not, things can work well for both options (only question of alter regen rate). The important is that pet must walk so to not have a new stopped "meditate" skil...

Re: Equilibrium Infusion regen / Problems with Equilibrium

Using meditate might become a bit easier when LOS is reduced to 10 squares. Oh I forgot that. That also means it would make meditate more "dangerous" to do and make more prone to be interrupted. Jellies having swallow that restores equilibrium to the summoner would be great I think. Would...
