I think there's plenty of room for short spears for bulwarkacus and stabby reavers (maybe give them an ego that lets you throw them?) AND long spears/pikes/polearms with a little bit of reach

Precise strikes will cancel out the speed gain, and bring you back to 100%. Cancel precise strikes and you should get your extra swing every ten turns.

If you're running around a lot, maybe add some Mucus. Get Mucus up to 4/5 for the extra radius, and get a point in Living Mucus, and you'll be up to your neck in snot in no time.

Some of the psi stuff does work off spell crit. Though we probably should get a mindcrit function set up for psi stuff to go along with mindpower and have it run off that instead (which would still mean your crit rates would suffer, especially with the lack of mindpower or mindcrit boosting gear). ...

I'm not sure if it's the Aura or the Telekinetically wielded weapon that's dong it (maybe both), but if your first step doesn't take you out of melee range of all your enemies, you hit something and break your Movement. Which will likely be fatal in the late game. Obviously we can't let that damage ...
