im getting confused now..
at first you had two paths - A( from launcher ) and D (default from 'direct' launcher )
after the change both points to D (if i understood you correctly) but you wanted to both point to A
so why not use 1st solution i gave? (with --home)

depends on solution you want 1. use same path as launcher: add '--home some/path/to/profile' to your standard ToME exe (ie make some .bat file or in shortcut icon) 2. make launcher use default path 'run' -> 'regedit' -> find 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/T-Engine 4/home' -> remove it edit ups wrong pa...

sometime ago ive had some antivirus that you could 'stop' but what it did was actually 'stop active scanning' it still scanned newly created files / downloaded so it might be something similar as for freezes make another thread about it and when it freezes post content of 'te4_log.txt' there note th...

its given via '-i' switch i.e -i/etc/user/tome

but please note im not linux user and i didnt ever tried it, so you mignt need to experiment a bit with it or it might event not work correctly in any case please tell if it worked or not : )

i doubt it, basicly what it does is copy command

if you have already downloaded ToME via launcher you can try to manually unpack it from - downloads folder - thats what launcher would normally do

most probably your antivirus doesnt like new dll files being unpacked 5th file is 'OpenAL32.dll'

as for checking if path is valid ill have to look into it : )
