I imagine darkgod will fix this soon, but for beta 5 gameplay purposes, you can manually refresh the monster's HP by looking elsewhere (e.g. using shift-up) and then looking at the monster again (shift-down).

One nice thing about no word of recall is that the temptation to collect almost every bit of loot, then WoR in and out to sell it is reduced. Reduces tedium for OCD people like me, and makes a dungeon feel more "whole" (instead of popping in and out of it). Perhaps the ideal thing IMHO wou...

Resting and lost merchant dialog

Small bug:

In the lost merchant quest, if you rest while the merchant is chasing after you talking to you, you'll get the prompt to dismiss his message over and over again.

I got rid of this by holding onto the enter key to dismiss the messages quickly, but it still took a while.

I have to say, I'm amazed by how quick and good you are at fixing bugs, improving quirks, and adding new features. Your sense of game design is great too, every post of yours I see here makes a lot of sense.

Also got killed by this. I was in between two rogues immediately to my left and right in the robber quest. I cast chain lightning which hit one rogue, then myself. I suspect the logic for the spell hit one rogue, then went to target the other one, but ran into me en-route.
