[b30] Character does not move
After clearing the opening dungeon with a dwarf berserker and visiting Last Hope to get an alchemist quest I take a couple of steps away and my character does not appear to move on the map. After saving and resuming, the character has moved to another location but the character still does not appear...

Specifically during the talent adding phase. You can augment statistics with no problem, then it gets insanely slow trying to adjust talents.

Minimum computer requirements?
I think there needs to be something describing how much RAM (graphical and otherwise) is needed/recommended for ToME 4. I suspect my box's 768MB RAM is way too low, since every level up requires at least 10 minutes of churning to complete and it goes over 550 MB of RAM while it churns.

I'm sadly on board with jenx here. It might be some kind of bug with adventure mode, where you 'return' to a level which it can't draw (whether from Eidolon or from the special level of Trollshaws). Nothing at all in the log file and I can't get the game to run at all with a gdb wrapper :(. But righ...

This seems to be a serious problem with 26b. Unfortunately I can't convince gdb to work on my machine or I'd send DG what he needs to fix it.

Thaloren Tree Long Bow having a range further then a character can see is kinda cool imo and has some interesting synergy with the Higher Racial. But the range is a legacy thing as far as I know (going back to before the vision stuff got adjusted). That's right, since that one was my idea back when...

They are enormously harder than they used to be. There's hardly any cover to speak of in Derth, and they hit at distance like a ton of bricks. I usually do those after Daikara now, just before going into Dreadfell.

The first time I got a real crash (as opposed to an infinite loop or slowing to a crawl) for a dozen betas was in b24. Personally I've stopped playing aside from goofing off in the Arena from time to time.

This is probably filed under "stupid questions from people who only use Windows": when I ran the program I got a window opening momentarily and gdb said New Thread with several codes all prefaced by 7304.0x followed by: 11a4, 1aa4, 155c, 83d8, 234c, 9220, 9678, 85d4, 2214, 1d74, 2c08, 1f98...

b24 Game crashes completely
I'm playing a dwarf fighter and the last couple of times I was in Reknor it crashed (that is, it went instantly to desktop in Windows). The only thing I did prior was that I got the second potion from the hermit guy. "stdout" and "stderr" are empty, although I could send the te4_...

[b23] Alchemist quest parts not dropping
I've only played one character in b23 (and finished one in b22, dying to the aggro bug) but none of the alchemy body parts are dropping (e.g. minotaur nose, bear paw, etc.). I thought it was really neat in b22, where it did work....
