Re: Pern
Oh god, the memories of that game... the Sokoban dungeon, the invisible castle... but yeah, symbionts wore eyes and other immobile stuff and got powers through doing so.

Re: (b34) AL Question
Hee, yeah, Assassin Lord. Come to think of it, not even sure if it dropped from him, it was in a doorway I was using to limit the number of things attacking me.

Re: [b34] Continuity Error
The dwarves have never been forthcoming about their problems in any case. The orcs would not leave Reknor until they had a force ready to go raid as they did when they bopped you over the head and stole your staff.

(b34) Strangle hold bug
Will post screenies tomorrow if able, but over the weekend I ran into a bug with the horror that has grappling stance/strangle. If it's strangling you when its hp goes negative (it didn't have blurred mortality), it is still able to damage you in the turn it has before the "clear anything with ...

Re: [b34] new LOS does not always perform properly
Yeah, that's probably better with my idea. Still should probably highlight the blocking tile(s) though.Grey wrote:With the "smart line" idea, maybe just stop the line entirely after it meets the obstacle? Then you won't see any weird looking end to the line.

Re: [b34] new LOS does not always perform properly
The second path is not blocked:It is possible to set the permissiveness, so obstructed terrain won't block the entire tile. This is currently only set-able on a per-level basis, however, and not a per-terrain basis. When I get home I'll try to give you an example, but basically it's the attachment ...

Re: Dual Arrows behavior
Fire two arrows at B, if the first one kills A, then the second one will hit B. Like how the iceblock bug causes you to flurry/burn/poison/etc yourself if you do more damage through multiple attacks in a single power, than the iceblock has health.

Re: [b34] new LOS does not always perform properly
You could just draw a line representing the path of the beam or projectile like you did in the example, but if it's needed, with a less basic-looking line. Would probably be more intuitive for projectiles, that the projectile is following the line and not occupying the entirety of every tile on its ...

Re: Re-balancing the Shade in Kor'pul
I usually get frozen as soon as possible, and for people using kor'pul as their 2nd dungeon (or first), freeze at that level can be very bad. I personally have not died because of an iceblock here, but I've come close MANY times. Not sure I think I like blind resist 30% because every other skeleton ...

Re: Re-balancing wrathroot
Idk, I've never had too much of a problem against Wrathie. It'd be easier for some classes if the iceblock-can-poison/burn you bug goes byebye, but even then the fight isn't too hard.

Yeek-themed idea
Just a thought: How is the Way peaceful if it is forced upon someone? Here's a story, and an idea for a zone and a few other things, that asks this question. Ruined Halfling City -------------------- This city has been abandoned since the Spellblaze, some of its grandeur lost forever to the rages of...
