What does an antropy zone look like?
So I beat the bonus entropy boss, and now I would like to not die if possible... I just got a message saying an antropy zone appears and I should run to it. But I don't see anything; just void and space cracks. Where do I go?

Volley of arrows will fire a shot at every npc in the area of effect. But it will be a normal shot, so you may not hit every npc you fire at. e.g. if you volley at two npcs in a line, the one in front will get hit twice and the one behind won't be hit at all. Perhaps an illusionist's fighting strategy would be to convince other enemies that your target is, in fact, you.
That way, it doesn't matter if the boss has high resists, because you're targeting your spell at his minions..

In Nethack, all challenges are assigned at the start of the game, and silently removed as you violate the restrictions..

I'm in Bree now. Scoured the town, killed all the elementals I could find, but the quest is not continuing.
Figured out how to use the lua console to kill one more so I could continue the quest. Kept a backup of the save if you're interested.

Give them some special abilities that have no effect.
e.g. one ability that does nothing except display the message: "You feel a shiver run down your spine."
They can have real attacks too, but this could increase the atmosphere, and also lessen their threat.

A few thoughts: 1. Remember that if the stun ability is weakened, it also weakens fighters and rogues, since they rely on it. 2.
