ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Yeah, I looked at Theme & know generally how to add a new god, I just haven't seen anything on changing anything with existing gods

Not sure if people are even up on these forums anymore, but I was wondering.
Can you edit the ToME gods (What they like, benifits, ect...) without going through the source code?
I know some lua programming, but I can't find a .lua file that handles the gods.
