login problem
I set my account to stay logged-in but occasionally (every few weeks) get logged-out... occasionally when this happens the first time I login it says I exceeded the maximum number of login attempts and so have to use CAPTCHA, which sometimes doesn't work. I doubt anyone else is trying to login to my...

Re: Are there any guides on how to win?
That's all very interesting. I have also read a detailed blog website about winning, with several pages description and maybe screenshots; anyone know if that's still up?

Re: Anyone know where can we get old Tome modules...
What's the status of getting/using old ToME2 modules now? I'm wondering if a Narnia module was made or is available and how to load it...

Tome 2 Internet Relay Chat (IRC)
Join us on LIbera Internet Relay Chat (IRC) ##tome ( irc://libera/##tome ) to discuss Tome 2, and you can also go to #moria , #angband , #TomeNET on freenode. I hope Anonymous Hero and/or AmyBSOD and/or anyone doing another fork show up then we could get freenode's official #tome channel for Tome 2.

Re: ToME2 should become more popular
If you can exactly replicate, and extend (not remove things from) ToME2 game mechanics, along with better graphics that attracts more players (though I'd only play if having larger, Angband-style maps, graphics or not,) I'm all for that, but ToME2 being slightly old (apart from forks updated this ye...

Re: ToME2 updates/patches/forks/variants
Okay, I did, but I think the forum moderators/administrators should see to it that there is a sticky post that always has the latest links in the first post. The thread you mentioned is an old one starting with someone asking where it is, then the current links are at the end... the same problem with...

Re: Download for ToME 2 files
Let's list all updates/patches/forks/variants of Tales of Middle-earth 2 Here are a couple, because the ‘ToME 2.3.5 maintenance’ thread still hasn't updated to this link in its first post, and the new fork's thread isn't near the top. Scott Bingham's Tales of Middle-earth 2 patches (2.n patches/fork...

ToME2 should become more popular
I think ToME2 (and TomeNET, based on ToME2... if you can handle real-time) is the best roguelike, and I'd like to see it become more popular again, as it was when it had its own website and own Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel/‘room.’ What about starting a site for patches/variants/forks, with its ...

Re: Revitalizing the forum *Please Read*
I don't know why this thread still seems ‘pinned’--is there no ToME 2 forum administrator that sees this thread's material is mostly outdated? Maybe the best things to revitalize the forum, if necessary, would be to upload some of the old material linked to in another post pinned post ‘[url=http://f...

Re: Download for ToME 2.3.5
It's unfortunate te4.org seems to no longer host the files, though you can find old versions two posts above at the zaimoni.com link and on http://ftp.sunet.se/mirror/archive/ftp.sunet.se/pub/games/Angband/Variant/PernAngband or other Scandinavian university networks. As for 2.3.5, it is also on htt...

Re: ToME 2 maintenance
Do you really mean "source"? You can always download source archives from the GitHub repository with the "Clone or Download" button. Just press that and press the "Download ZIP" link. No; I mean source code's location archive--the above URL (hadn't been posted in this ...

You replied to someone earlier here about their post, with a screenshot of a '2.4.0' (which looks like TomeNET), on December 18, 2013.

Re: ToME 2 maintenance
So, 2.4 is using a multi-terminal set up like TomeNET now? If I download and compiled it (is it really released yet?), could I still run it in one terminal, or the console, if I wanted to?
