Re: Mac OS bug

OK I found the issue. We needed another define to tell physfs to load zipped files.

Re: Mac OS bug

OK, firstly I'm not supporting non-Xcode builds for the Mac. DG can if he wants but I'm not putting energy into two builds. :-) So if premake doesn't set the defines properly for the OS, use the Xcode build. It does. Further the premake build probably isn't setting the same location for the saves, i...

Interface Maintainers Needed

If you wish to ensure that the ToME interfaces for OS/2, RiscOS, or Linux SVGAlib will continue to run in ToME 3, please contact the development mailing list, DarkGod, or Neil Stevens with your intent to make the necessary adjustments. Specifically, these developers will need to adapt the existing M...

From what I've been told about Lygrogs, you can't judge ToME by that module. Not one bit.

Anyone who hasn't won ToME with at least a few types of class (Warrior, Rogue, Mage...) has no business saying ToME is at all easy, by the way.

ToME has a variable difficulty. You choose your race and class, so you choose your own difficulty level.

The illustious maintainer put in the feature that alternates both names in the title screen, and I doubt he'll settle that ambiguity, heh.

Compatibility Testing Needed

Everyone, if you want ToME 3 to run on your computer, please test this program by seeing if, on your computer, it compiles, runs, and outputs the text it's supposed to output. The C source file has comments to explain what is going on. Contact me or DarkGod with the results of your tests, particular...

Almost Done

We believe that today the negative skill bug is fixed, so that odd instances of Legendary skills at the beginning of the game should no longer happen. If more testing bears this out, then ToME 2.3 will be released very soon. So please, update and re-test!

Well, I don't consider your plan (the client/server design) the same as mine (the monolithic game dependent on SDL).

1. The SDL ToME in development has nothing to do with my plan (which has been rejected by the illustrious maintainer anyway).

2. Objections to noegnud implementation issues are noted, but not likely to be relevant to ToME SDL software.

If they were easy to find why would the beastmaster need to put up a bounty?
