Sure, but my idea of a character isn't one-dimensional, a character who can do only one thing well. Then there really would never be any differentiation between characters. But I'm having great fun with a character right now that has some necromancy -- and a swordmaster to boot. I like the combination, and want to keep that option open!

Oh I don't know. They can't all be the same. Some schools can't be used together: Mana/Geomancy, for example.

I'm not in favor of restricting magic schools. If anything, I'd like to see some more of them become available through FF quests or other means.
