The old sdl-hg versions that I would need to build tome4 have now themselves become impossible to compile on my machine without downgrading / freezing more packages.

Why not...: - Make leash length of all minion equal to 1/2 their biggest attack range (or more) - Add a (passive/sustained?) skill that reflects [50-90%] of the dmg back to the minion that hit you or maybe just kills them instantly if they do ("masters wrath" :3) - Or maybe a 50% (?) chanc...

Isn't that a bug? Sounds like a bug... If it's not, a skill that makes necromancers immune against their minions attacks would be great. In lvls with long corridors, I practically instantly die the moment I hit the autoexplore button if I have more than 1 skeleton mage around. I don't think that tha...

Does one part always fail if you complete enother? Should one start only one alchemist quest at a time? Completing them quickly does not seem to help... does completing them all before going back to the first alchemist?

Same bug here. Deleting the wilderness file didn't help. Wiggling around the mouse very much speeds up things, though. Is this a random seed problem with moving entities or something? Feels like it's worse when many of those are around.

Yes, that was the one I meant.
Strange, the first few times I played I practically walking into that item 5 minutes into the game. Last time I didn't find one at all. Made a huge difference in early game.

If I remember right, it was a guaranteed drop somewhere in the beginning of the game, but I must have left it on the ground. Who did drop that thing again / where?
