Trollmire, Level 3. Escort (Anorithil) walks through the entire level, and stops on the stairs to Hidden Trollmire. When asked for the direction, it says "The portal is very close, to the ???.". There doesn't seem to be any portal on the level.

Recalling gives you a message about how everything dissolves around you or something like that.
How about adding a minor blur effect that grows with each turn? At it's highest it would still be much weaker than the confusion blur.
I find that it would be kinda neat and flavourful.

Does he have some upper limit with regards to level scaling? I could probably do all second-tier dungeons and then return. I'd be some 25 or more by then, I guess.
