I think they are going into some hidden system folder that isn't searchable. I've looked around under /System/Library but haven't found it yet.

How exactly to "flip" a cursed item

I've got an amulet of doom [-8] (-7). How exactly does flipping work? I have to wear it, read a remove curse (or *remove curse*?), which will uncurse it, but only some rare fraction of the time will cause the -7 to turn to +7. So I then have to wait for it to recurse itself to try a second time?

Thanks! Any ideas on the other two questions (where char dumps go on OSX and how to view your home inventories)? I'm at that point where all my homes are full (except Khazad Dhum) but I've now hit the upper levels of Angband and I'm finding lots of nice things that I'm not sure how they stack up to ...

I like the no-respawn, since I often do parts of dungeons rather than clearing them all at once (for example, avoiding the last level if I'm not ready for a boss, or, if there is a separate quest that one gets to from the last level like in Trollmire or Old Forest). Equipment explanations- what do all the numbers mean, who can or can't equip what, when do you need to equip prior to use, that things liked ego diggers and lights give you bonuses but (x)change weapons don't (I think).
