Re: Looking at tiles

T-Engine3 still has no support for graphic tiles, but It's being worked on.

For T-Engine2, I have no idea.

Re: Found a junkart that can activate for 'acquirement'

Yes, depth affect what you get with the junkart, but it is still 'good' what you get, relative to your dungeon level. I agree with other commenters, junkart of adquirement are useful to be activated once when you find them, and then forget about them.

Re: Identify and monster memory

Personally I like DBT's auto-id system, in that one stuff is identified when you have the relevant skill. For example armor is identified with the "martial-arts" skill and guns with the "markmanship" skill. Also, to make things more interesting, some items could be identified whe...

Re: Just checking in

DG has been posting a little more frequently on the forum which is an improvement! I take that to mean that he's making the occassional appearance, but not actively developing? Hmm. How's morale? Lots of enthusiam I see, but is anything actually getting done? Some casual browsing of the new forum r...

Interesting! I had always wanted to do one of these. But right now I have no internet connection, just moved to my new home. I will try to take a look at it anyway.

Re: Revitalizing the forum *Please Read*

Only problem I see is that Gameplay questions and Ditl's are very likely to get spoliy, pretty much the same situation with the old Strategies section.

Re: Syzygy, a Geomancer

My recollection is that with spell power and fire maxed it is easy to take out evil monsters. The big problem I had was dealing damage to non-evil. The last princess quest was for a bunch of grand master mystics and I wasn't sure whether I would be able to finish it. You should be able to take them...

Re: Syzygy, a Geomancer

I love geomancers! They are a cool class, I won with one: here is the char sheet. They are a bit tricky to play but they are a lot of fun. You don't need manatrust, actually I think the character is more interesting without manatrust because you get to use new, more varied strategies. Also you get s...

Yeah! Go crazy, post all your ideas here!

Btw, it could be useful to have some kins of voting system for ToME ideas, like the guys at the KDE forums did.

Ohhh, wow. You are implementing all the ideas I had for my own module, did you read my mind?

The only thing missing is that I wanted monsters to have inventory slots just like the player, so beware of that little novice warrior wielding that small sword...

Re: Unofficial T-Engine and ToME HG repositories

Hello Falconis, I received your pull request, will check it out and pull it tonight! I think bugs.t-o-m-e.net is still the best place to post bug reports, it's very underused right now and seems not anyone cares about it anymore, so it needs a lot of love. One problem is that few developers have acc...

Maybe this one is related to BugReport930? If not, a backtrace could be useful.
