ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I started playing roguelike games about 2 years ago with the game called net hack...i got it off a demo cd for some pc magazine...it had like a million free old games for comp...how bout other ppl

oops i meant gnu..but anyway i got windows xp and visual studio and im learning C# and gettin pretty good at it. i was wondering is it possible to make a rogue like type game in c# or do i have to run it in C.

i use windows 98 and im downloaded the compiler and the editor ad now im lookin at the files and there doesnt seem to be an .exe to run to start the programs... maybe u can give me a quick crash course? ide be very grateful

i have a question, how does one go about editing the game. Does one need to know C. Do you need to have visual studio .NET. Im learning C# and i just want to know how other people are going about editing the files.

well besides ToME wat is ur favorite...i know it was stupid to put ToME on a ToME forum...lol
