Higher Arcaneblade!
I want to make a higher arcane blade but no idea where to start! I have an idea of skills I need but no idea on how to do stats! They need so many! Plus not sure what weapons I should use! I am thinking of going two handed so I can use the Legacy of the Naloren! But not sure yet!
Re: Higher Arcaneblade!
Can't really say about the class, but you can juggle points out from weapon proficiency if needed and if you happen to find escort giving you exotic weapons mastery. If you do then go for Naloren, if don't them something else.
Stronk is a potent combatant with a terrifying appearance.

If you want to go two-handed, staves are a great choice, especially if you want to use fire spells and take advantage of Born Into Magic (since your weapon attacks can do fire damage too).
You can really easily rely on your spells for damage for your first ten levels or so, until you can afford to train Staff Combat. Then I'd use Flameshock for stuns and for getting the damage bonus triggered, and consider spending a category point to unlock Harmony, since you can reliably inflict a bit of fire damage to yourself to get a nice global speed boost. If you end up wanting to use exotic weapons, you can always juggle the generic points.
All in all, I think the build might lack some of the raw power of more typical ones, but be perfectly viable and fun to play.

Max Magic first, then concentrate on Cunning. Once you unlock Battle Tactics (with your first category point) start pumping Dexterity.
If you find a good one-handed staff in late game, you may want to branch out into shields or dual weapons. (The latter is probably the best choice--you'll do even more damage with shields, but it will be overkill, and the multi-hitting talents in Dual Techniques will give nice crowd control.)
For prodigies, look into Temporal Form and Cauterize. Or, if you do go dual weapons, Windblade: when you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherf'cker in the room, accept no substitutes.
