I have two dumb questions:
1) I'd like advice on how to get my Ogre Berserker through the High Peak. To do that, I probably need to upload a character dump, like I see other folks doing. I don't know how to do that. Do I need to be playing through Steam, or something? I've been playing at home/not online? Not sure.

I looked in the Character Dump chunk of the forum, but the "How To" to my eye looked like "here's how to make it look pretty once you do it." I don't know to do it in the first place.

2) Ok, on to the character. I've breezed through to level 45, standing in front of the portal to the High Peak. I have had a couple of stupid deaths, but I've been sick recently. 4 lives and the Blood of Life left. I increasingly get lost in the complexity of gear, and what should be minned/maxed, as the character level gets higher. I've only been playing Ogre Berserkers so far. I got one up to L50, got to the High Peak, and got whacked again and again.

So, some help with doing a character dump, and then advice on the High Peak? Thank you in advance.

If you aren't playing with an online account of some sort, I think all you can do is post screenshots of your character sheet and inventory.
Inventory is a bit tricky, as we can't see much without the item tooltips, but your weapons are likely the most important things, so maybe just include their tooltips.

Even if you haven't been playing with a te4 account, if you create one, then load the game while logged in (and maybe play for a little) your character should get uploaded here: https://te4.org/characters-vault. If you're playing through steam and are connected to the internet, I think your characters should already be uploaded. Just go to the site I linked, click log in through steam (far right side of page), and once you're logged in click on "my characters."

I notice you have a lot of gold right now. Did you rescue the merchant from the Assassin Lord? If so, I would go back to Last Hope, and buy a couple of 4K artifacts in the slots that you feel are the weakest. The shop is in the upper right corner and you have to ask about a special item.

What are you using for infusions? And what are your immunities? Healing, negative status removal, damage mitigation? Resistances?

Those will be key to making it through High Peak and completing the game.

I've had characters cruise through the game to the final bosses and then lose due to not having 100% on certain immunities such as blindness. Or simply not having enough negative status removal.

I haven't faced them yet in this newest version, I've read that the bosses have fewer classes now so it's less random in the final fight. If you're playing through with a character from a previous version you have to be prepared for anything. Having extra equipment in your inventory to give you specific resistances and immunities so you can adapt to whatever you come across.

Sometimes, even if you are experienced and well geared and know what you're doing, you still get blitzed by an overpowered stair guardian or a deadly combination of skills on the final bosses you just don't have an answer for.
