So, even though I don't have Adventurer unlocked yet, I got the idea for a spellcrit-based Adventurer build.

Hymns and Eclipse would basically be required, for Hymn of Moonlight and Corona- Maybe Blood Red Moon, if the talent points could be spared?

Light, Sun, and Twilight look good for fueling Corona and Moonlight.

Corruption / Blight looks VERY good for increased crit multiplier from Dark Ritual.

Corruption / Plague might also be good since we're opening up Corruption talents anyway, because of the instant cast Virulent Disease, and of course the general usefulness of the tree.

Celestial/ Glyphs and Circles look good for instant-cast spellcrits.

Perhaps Cunning/Lethality solely for the crit mult boost from the first talent? Though maybe there's not really enough categories to spare. +25% crit mult is still a lot once you've got your crit chance extremely high though.

Am I missing anything? This basically looks to be Anorithil+ as it is. Maybe instead of Glyphs and Circles, there should be Magical Combat and Fire/Air/Stone? Would there be some way to work in Dual-Techniques for multi-hits that could proc Arcane Combat and then proc Corona?

Admittedly I'm not completely sure how many categories Adventurers get.

Shalore is the best race for this build, then you have 7 categories at lvl 1.
Your main damage output from this build will be light and darkness damage, so I suggest spell/shade, 50% darkness penetration from frostdusk is always good, forgery of haze is also an asset.

Edit: Tried it, not as good as a traditional Anorithil.

~100% spell crit chance is actually quite easy to get from gear. Much easier than melee crit.
So, you can just play Anorithil.

...Did you even read the post? The point wasn't to stack abilities to increase spellcrit CHANCE, it was largely to make spellcrits even more effective than they are on Anorithil, and to perhaps get more of them. Dark Ritual alone is a pretty big improvement. Maybe it's the only real improvement you can really get, I dunno.

68% at 82 spell power for a corruptor, adventurer's skill trees are *1.0 instead of *1.3, so your dark ritual 1.5 levels lower than a normal corruptor, I think you will only have 60%. Your basic damage is not as high as a normal anorithil, so the real improvement is even smaller, I guess it's around 50%. Not an interesting and creative build but still worth a try.

Celestial/Sun
Celestial/Twilight
Celestial/Starfury
Celestial/Eclipse
Corruption/Blight

Generic:
Celestial/Hymns
Celestial/Light

Spell/Shade at lvl 10
Rune slot at 20 and 36.

Just try it yourself. You can unlock the class by win the game once on debugmode.

What about added stealth? This would make all bolts auto-crit. Possibly Fire alchemy for BoF sustain, or other spell category with autocast
Another possibility is to go lich, to get negative energy regen and star fury category for free (is it possible to get talent level to 6 on adventurer?)
