How do Solipsism and Force Shield interact?
Is it the case that Force Shield is early on in the damage resolution mechanic, and Solipsism is late? ...so that if you've got a character sending 60% of damage to psi, a 80% force shield, and 500hp the biggest hit the character would take to hp would be 160?
Answering my own question, from looking at the code: Solipsism and Force Shield are applied in the less awesome order: Solipsism's effects are applied before Force Shield's flat damage cap.
Incidentally, it looks like Channel Pain interacts kind of weirdly with Solipsism: shunting a percent of the damage into psi happens before Channel Pain. So: on the one hand you won't have Channel Pain triggering all of the time because of a low max life; on the other hand, it doesn't reduce the psi damage you take.
