 Post subject: New Cursed Aura scaling

I read all topics about afflicted and I think Cursed Aura does not have love it deserves. It is worth to mention that Cursed Aura got big buff with new scaling.

Cursed Aura talent with 1.2 master (category point) and investment 5/5/0/0 gives you:
  • Dark Gifts at effective level 6 gives +1 bonus level to all curses. This means at least power 2 with all curses, equals to at least +3 to different stats,
  • Defiling Touch at effective level 6 is affecting rings = +2 more curses

For example:

Curse of Shrouds at level 6 gives 25% resistance, +11 condition etc., more with more levels. I think curses will scale to level 10. It could work really well with Doomed and his movement bonus in darkness or Cursed Rampage. At curse of Shrouds level 10 it can be +45% resist all each turn.

All curses scale, so 50% for Ghoul after humanoid kill, etc.

I still think it's odd that you have no reason at all, ever, to raise the first talent before getting access to the second. I get it it's meant to be a curse initially, but 100% so?
I tend to just save up points and spend a few on the first talent once I can get the second...

I started hating this tree, now I love it. I wish you could still get it on other classes on the graveyard.

i tried this in 1.05 on a ghoul doomed, when i noticed the changes. the ring cursing didnt work yet at that point. but i still think that on the maj eyal main campaign the benefits arent that great, u will only get+1 curse lvls and i think at the same time the category got changed, the curses got scaled down a little. i think curse of shrouds gave more resist at lvl 5 in v 1.04 ? not sure about that tho, but i had 15% all res with lvl 6 shrouds if i recall correctly.

i failed with the character a little, didnt know about some stuff/didnt prepare well and hes stuck in the final fight without a chance to win it - the cat point was clearly wasted and an infusion slot would have helped me more i think.

in infinte dungeon tho above level 50 this category gets interesting.

and the most recent release of infinite500 addon gives the opportunity to gain the category for any class, like it was before from graveyard. if anyone gets there lvl 70+ id be glad to see a character link with high lvl curses active. for some classes i think curse of misfortune will be pretty nice too.

Curse of misfortune got the bigger nerf... I miss the old values...
